The XL7 features a bold and rugged exterior design with a large front grille, LED headlights, and a muscular bonnet. It is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine that produces 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, which is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the XL7 offers a spacious and comfortable cabin with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a 6-speaker audio system. The second and third-row seats can be folded to create more cargo space.
The XL7 also comes with a range of safety features, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold control, and electronic stability control. It competes with other 7-seater SUVs in the Indian market, such as the Mahindra XUV500, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar.
