In 1988, she auditioned for the Utrecht Conservatory and graduated six years later. She played in all-around bands for large parties and events, as well as unique bands featuring Disco, Flamenco, African music, Kaseko, Salsa, Brazilian music, Jazz, Blues, and Funk, and even a children's show.
