Crew neck sweatshirts are popular today as a wide, long-sleeved, collarless sweater. This viscose jersey is typically used during sports activities and has elastic wrists to keep it in place. The hoodie appeared not soon after Russell Athletic introduced the sweatshirt. A cover was then sewn with the same technique and features.
